The U.S. Economy Grew And Consumer Spending Remained Flat

Yesterday we all wanted to rejoice, and pass on the good cheer from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, about the 3.5 percent annual gain in output of goods and services, in the third quarter.

This was incredible news. And then today ice water was poured over our nice warm feelings, by the Stock Market decline, and the consumer spending report. It seems that consumers are continuing to hold onto their money, which is not surprising and understandable.

We have gotten to know too many people and acquaintances that have been struggling for the last two years. It has been ugly everywhere, not only in the US, but around the world.

Dealing with trying to help out the victims of the latest barrage of internet scams we have heard a lot of very sad and depressing economic stories. Any good news for a change, economic news, is more than welcome.

Trying to remain optimistic is a challenge. We truly believe that the US economy will survive for the better and that out of the dire predictions, and gloomy economic forecasts, the US will grow stronger. The free consumer spending of yesteryear is waiting in the future, and nothing can speed it along until a balance of trade and domestic manufacturing is realized.

On a lighter note we have been working hard on a real Google Home Income package that we can share with everyone, the real deal. It is a time consuming effort and we hoped to release it all at one time in an Ebook form, but now we shall try to publish it on this site in sections. We may develop a new category with only posts involving the instructions; or maybe just keep adding bits and pieces as we have been doing in new posts.

We updated the Ping addresses on the “What can Ping do for Wordpress Blogs” post, adding many new ones and removing some that are no longer active. So take a look and make the changes to your own list.

We have been compiling a new list of search engines that accept links, concentrating on free listings. We will also add a resource for paid inclusions, for those that wish to get their listings activated faster. There are so many, and it takes time to go through all of them. We are making progress.

For those of you who want to get started here is a good site that lists the majority of them. Many are paid inclusions and you will have to sort them out to discover the free ones. Most will take 30-90 days to include your URL, and if you are multilingual you will have an advantage over most of us. The site is http://www.searchenginecolossus.com/.

If you have some time at the beginning of each month to submit your domains manually it will be just as effective and save you money.  I usually use Submit Express (http://www.submitexpress.com) to submit my blog to the search engines.  Also, because of the constant updating, blogs get indexed faster (and stay indexed longer) than traditional websites.  This fact alone makes me a blog supporter and promoter.

Enjoy.

Remember these 3 rules for online success:

1. Know or understand how to get your own blog, or website setup
2. Know how to implement compelling copy onto your site
3. And know how to get targeted traffic to your site
