Automated Home Profits | News11Today | Katie Matthews Scam
News11Today.net, News9Today.net, and the Katie Matthews Scam
2010/11/12 by Billw
Updated: 2011/01/28

This scam was advertised 2 years ago and now they seem to think that we have forgotten or are so stupid that we have no memory!

The Easy Google Home Profit Kit is now Automated Profit package, and The Automated Home Profits Kit advertised on the fake News Sites, News9Today.net, News11Today.net, with the same fake story of a fictitious person, Katie Matthews, who was down on her luck and happened upon the kit (course), that saved her from terrible times and put around $8,700 a month into her happy lap, just by posting links on Google.
Katie Matthews is a fictitious person who always resides near whoever happens to open the website by chance or by design (never mind that it is stated that she is from Orlando Florida).
The pictures on News9Today, and News11Today, are the same as the ones that have been used for three other infamous fictitious scam names, Kelly Richards, Cameron Davidson, and Kevin Hoeffer.

The fictitious Katie Matthews supposedly found Cameron Davidson’s work-at-home program called Automated Home Profit Kit and Automated Profit Package.
The outrageous claim of an automated way to make over $25 for every ad posted on a new Google advertising platform has not changed.
This is just one of the outright lies told on the Website. “Fortune 500 companies say that the work-from-home job industry is now BOOMING during the recession as they seek help from thousands of people who are looking to make money online. You can now work from home earning $379+ per day working online. 100% Automated! Check for available positions below…”
It is still as ridiculous as it was two years ago when this same SCAM first appeared online and duped thousands of innocent people into purchasing their fraudulent product.

The only difference is that The Automated Home Profits Kit does not have the reoccurring billing hidden within the Terms and Conditions.
The Automated Home Profits Kit involves a onetime purchase of $19.97 to begin with and rather than scare you away with recurring billing, like their previous products, they give out instructions with more links that you have to purchase to fully implement their kit.
The worst part of all of this is that the information in The Automated Home Profit Kit is all free information on the Google AdWords site and forum. Everyone is being charged for free information.
Google does not charge for their instructions and they do not charge to join their AdWords program.

Stay away from the Scam News9Today, News11Today, Katie Mathews, the Automated Home Profits Kit, and the Automated Profit Package.
They will only cause you grief and money that would be better spent elsewhere.

As one of the many real Cameron Davidson’s out there, I have to say this is not good to read. One Cameron Davidson is an artist, another a professor in New Jersey, another a Professor in Australia, a well known Executive in Scotland, a College Wrestler, a photographer and also a painter in Australia.
I am pretty sure that none of us have anything to do with the use of our name or have given permission to do so.
True. There are many Katie Matthews, Kelly Richards, and Kevin Hoeffers too. These scammers just pick a good sounding name and then use it to promote their trash online. Not one of these people are really using their own names. If they were then they would have been arrested a long time ago.
If there was a way to catch these impostors and bring them to justice it would have been done already.
The FBI has been after the people behind the Kevin Hoeffer scams for several years. These are all the same group of people and they cover their online and offline tracks very well. No one has been able to figure out who they are or where they reside.
I am sorry that your name has been maligned.

I am moderately fascinating in your subject matter of writing trust you will elaborate more on top of it in impending posts. Help is good for us.
We try to expose scams when they come online. It is hard to keep up with all of them. There are so many.
Thank you for the nice article. Thaes people need to be thrown in jail!
Thanks for commenting and I agree that they should all be in jail somewhere.
Hi,
Im in Ireland, and I fell for this scam yesterday. I guess, job issues, recession, and a bit of hope a wing and a prayer. I paid for VIp (hahaha) service. Anyway. I went and found out more after I paid, and I already gort my money back from click.bank, and have notified my credit card company and I expect a full refund there also. Its not the first rtime I was take in my scammers online, but what intrigues me is how they can remain at large, not behind bars, and continue to ply their illegal trade. I read a blog somewhere today and it would aopopear hundreds of thousands of people have fallen into this trap a gain and again. Can nothingbe done through the Service Providers/Host to insure everything is legal and above board. Otherwise the internet will eventually be the home of crooks, thieves and scoundrels.
Hi Mike,
It is a shame that they continue to fraud people around the globe. the FBI in the US has an ongoing investigation and have been trying to catch these people for nearly three years, but as you can see they have not been successful.
The problem is that they are international and are very sophisticated in in their scam techniques. They cloak their identities and their sources to avoid tracking and tracing, thus preventing any prosecution.
What we can do as consumers and as individuals is to report the scams as they occur and in this way try to help make people aware of the scams as they arise.
I am very glad that you received your money back from the ClickBank site. PayPal has also been very good at reimbursing funds.
We all hope that someday the people behind these scams will be caught and brought to justice.
Hi Mike, sorry to join you as another victim to the scam… Can you kindly tell me how to get Click.Bank to refund me the money, please? (I am from UK). I have cancelled my credit card immediately and now wonder if I have taken the step too quickly because how is Click.Bank going to credit back the money now? Would greatly appreciate your or anyone’s advice please. (Big regret and kicking myself as I am usually very cautious! Doh!). Well, a lesson learnt! You r right, it goes to show that more have to be done to protect the wider public from these crooks. Hope to hear from you soon. CS

Thank you for commenting. CS.
ClickBank has a policy of refunding if the product is not what it claims to be, but if you paid through PayPal you can dispute the charges too.
If you paid with a credit card you should make a chargeback. This is a form “E” that you can fill out online or at the bank location ( in the USA). I know that the UK credit card providers also have a chargeback form and this can be done by asking for a manager.
If they are not willing to make the chargeback then ask for their supervisor until you get to someone that will take your efforts seriously. Always remember that it is your money not theirs.
I hope that this helps.

Thanks for this.
I had just just looked at the geographic information for my IP address to find it was Woodbridge — about an hour an half drive away, but noticed the adverts on the site — ” Woodbridge Mum discovers how to make teeth white” and “Woodbridge Mum makes £77/hour online”. When clicked the later I found it is was Kelly Richards from London. I think your article is far more accurate than theirs — so thanks for letting me know for sure this is a scam.
Hi Adrian,
Good to hear. I hate it when people make the mistake of believing these frauds and these scammers.
Thank you so much for commenting.
Also you may want to update the copyright date on your website to 2011.
Thanks again for commenting and sharing your information.
Hi and Thanks,
I wish I could get time to rebuild my website, I am just too busy building other peoples’, but the copyright does give the game away!
Hi Adrian,
I know how time seems to be captured by some invisible net.
I try to make a list everyday, now the night before, to accomplish. Sometimes I have been know to stay up for three days until all was completed. I found myself getting further behind so I quit trying to complete the list and now only use it as an outline. I am much more content. We all have bills to pay so those things that pay the bills always take priority.
Thanks for responding.
how do i get my costs refunded
Hi Lois,
Please read our article on some things to do if you have been scammed. It will give you instructions.
I am sure that you will find what steps to take. The steps vary if you used a credit card or PayPal.
If you have any more concerns please come back and post again.
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Appreciate it for all your efforts that you have put in this. very interesting info .
Hi Shantay,
Thanks for commenting and we are happy that you like our site.
I have been caught before, fortunately not by this scheme. From now on I only buy through Click Bank,or Clicksense via Paypal.
I am in Australia and a few months ago bought a scheme which was not as advertised.Clickbank returned my funds within hours of me filling in the E Form.
Purchasing via the above method protects me two ways.Although I must say that you only have 40 days to complain through Paypal and 60 days for a retun of funds throuh Clickbank or Clicksense… so read the terms of service on the site you are buying into to ensure that you should have a return on investment within the time stipulated above.
Do research on the net.…google “is blah blah a scam?“
Regards
Taffie
Hi Taffie,
Glad to hear that you were refunded so quickly. It pays to read the terms of service too. Many do not do this and are ready to buy when it seems like such a great deal is being offered.
Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom with us.
thank you please keep on exposing these fraudsters
