I have not seen this addressed anywhere else online but then I do not get around that much nowadays.
Additional to this is to make sure (duh!) that they ask for a website address. Now this is also a great way to deep-link right into the page you already wrote which that comment refers to.
Meaning, you 1) write a stunning post, 2) search for others who have –just– blogged on the same thing. Then your website link goes right to your stunning post.
Search engines love deep-links (I’m told) as they then will search more on your blog from there. If you also have related links available on your blog-post, then of course you are now even more of an authority on the subject…
